Let's get a real good idea of what the total team costs are going to be. This included all costs that we are going to share, so basically everything except personal safety equipment.

Ok, so it looks like Eric and I each owe you $235. I plan on dropping off a check tomorrow.

Alan -
I will get you a check as soon I see you.

My costs are pretty minimal so far. $5.43-Oil Filter, and $19.46-Seafoam. I am going to start a spreadsheet on my computer to keep track of everything too. That way Excel can calculate how deep in everyone is.

Yesterday I started putting together an email looking for sponsors. When I complete it today and send it out I will forward it to you guys for scrutiny. I will start with focusing on British car dealers and repair shops in the bay area and spread out from there.

Cass -

Any responses on the sponsorship? It was a masterfully crafted email. If I had some extra money to throw at some young guys in a Lemons race, I would contribute.

Nice, I will see if I can find some more elusive quarters in the rest of the car. When do you want to mount it and take care of the transmission?

I want to say that I've sat in the seat and found it to be quite comfortable. Alan will have to lose the seat cover when it's his turn to drive, but those people with a waistline around 32-34 inches should fit nicely into the seat.

I like the sound of this. Once we get the transmission oil pan, we can run it for a while, and then take it to EGR for its cage. I might upgrade my AAA so I can get us some 100 mile tows too.

transmission oil - $20.06

Cass, we need your receipt for the other oil so we can return it. It isn't the right kind.

I may be selling the passenger latch assembly tomorrow. I have my fingers crossed.

I found an additional $0.22 when we were preping the car for its cage yesterday. I have set those two dimes and pennies aside and will deliver them to you Eric.

Hell, given enough time it looks like this car will pay for itself in loose change shaken from under what remains of the dash.

Very nice. I sold the latch fro $40 and have now been asked about the interior door panels and the antenna by a couple of people.

summit racing order $94.45
kill switch, 36ft of roll bar padding and trans temp sender

Home depot $18.73
sheet metal

i forget who was going to order the bushings but we need 2 of each of the lower ones and 4 uppers in the control arm bushing section. if you want to save $6 you can figure out which ones are the shock mounts and skip them.
